Going from The Great Resignation to now a Great Reshuffle has many employers looking at innovative ways to attract and retain talent, including a new price tag on positions. Now, we're seeing "Quiet Firing" where managers allow employees to have truly toxic or miserable experiences at work as a way to squeeze them out, according to Gallup Workplace. In this episode, Dewey, Rae, and Bryana discuss this concept, the consequences of it on the organization as a whole, and identify strategies for bringing awareness and training to the managers doing it.

For six and a half years Dr. Marshall Stewart, Vice Chancellor for Extension & Engagement and Chief Engagement Officer for UM System, has boldly led the land-grant mission of the University of Missouri. He envisioned a 21st century model for extension and engagement, and he mobilized talents, resources, and research across the state to make the vision a reality. On December 9th, Dr. Stewart announced he has accepted a position at Kansas State University and will be leaving the University of Missouri at the end of January. Missouri Training Institute's Bryana Larimer had an opportunity to chat with Dr. Stewart last month. Listen as they discussed his lessons in leadership and celebrated some of the biggest accomplishments during his time with the University of Missouri.
