When Rae started her career in business in the early 80s, fresh out of college, she often says she was kickin’ butts, and takin’ names!  She simply states from her perspective, that’s how women got ahead in those days and that quite honestly it was expected of men to be hard-nosed, facts-over-feelings, get-it-done no-matter-what.  If a woman took that approach, she was considered overbearing. That’s just the way it was.  Rae got it done; she advanced, and she had the fancy title, but at what expense?
