Believe it or not, we learned the art of negotiation at a very young age. How many times did you have to say, “Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom…” before she’d finally turn and watch you do something totally unspectacular? That was a negotiation; you got her to look and she got you to stop annoyingly call her name. Hopefully you've moved beyond that point.
