It takes a little over three minutes to reach the top floor of the tallest building in the world but you only get 30 seconds to give your elevator speech. Ever wonder why it’s called that? Because it should be possible to pitch an idea or deliver impressive information about yourself in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately 30 seconds to three minutes. Listen in as MTI discusses the importance of elevator pitches and what needs to go into the crafting of an effectively short, dynamic, and memorable speech.
